Introducing Ethan Scott May

Ethan was born on Friday the 30th of April, at 7:15 in the evening. He had quite the experience getting here, and this I am sure that I will share in a later post. I will give bits and pieces of it in this post, but I mostly just wanted to get some pictures out there to let everyone know that he arrived safely. He was 9 pounds and 13 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long. Nobody believed me when I said that I felt like I was having a ten pound kid.... well I pretty much did. He was a big kid, but so perfect.

Once he was born, he was taken up to the NICU to fix a problem they called gurgaling. He just sounded like his lungs were very full of something. They put him on a c-pap machine for about and hour, after they had suctioned out his lungs. They were not super concerned, and they say it is a pretty common thing that actually happens to quite a few kids.

This is right after they took the c-pap machine. He was just so relaxed and seemed so content with life. I love it.

This is Eli the first time that he got to see his little brother in the nursery. He was so excited, as you can plainly see from the cute little face.

The first family of four picture that we took. I look really bad in this picture, but come on, you can't expect that much after just pushing a ten pound kid out.

Eli loves his little brother so much. Future post to come showing all the fun that Eli has already had with his cute little brother in the last 4 days.

The day after Ethan was born was also free comic book day. Now you would only know this if you were a total nerd, which my husband just happens to be. A cute nerd, but a nerd . Eli needed some much needed mommy or daddy time, so Matt decided this would be a good time to take him out for a little bit with just the two of them. Of course they ended up at the comic book store. And of course, they had to bring little Ethan back his very first comic book. Eli was so excited to give it to him because he had also got the same one. I have to admit, it is a pretty cute picture.

Ethan and his Daddy

Mommy and all three of her boys..... Well, sort of!

Again, you can see the love that Eli has for his new little brother.

I have to admit, when Ethan was just very first born I couldn't really see much of Eli in him, but within hours and after his first bath, Ethan has now become a dead ringer for his older brother. There will be posts soon to show you just how similar these to little boys look.

All in all, the delivery and hospital stay was great, but I am definitely excited to be home. Thanks to all the visitors and friends, the thoughts and well wishes and well, just a big Thank you to everybody. We sure are super excited to have this new little addition home safe and sound.

Playdate with Liam and Caitlyn

We had a play date with Liam and Caitlyn last week. This is Eli's cousins. They had so much fun together. They are all pretty close to the same age which makes it all that much more fun. This is just some cute pictures of them painting together.

This is Caitlyn

Eli being such a cheezer. What else is new?

The whole crew just showing off their art work

Such concentration and devotion to their work.

They don't come any cuter...

Eli was so tired the other day when we got in the car. He has this glove thingy that he calls his Iron Man Glove. I look back in the mirror and this is the way that I found him. He had put both hands in the glove and was resting his head on the glove. Seriously, where did this kid come from. He is so stinkin cute.

One of Eli's Many Girlfriends

Eli has made a new friend. Her name is Brindalyn. She is the cutest little girl ever. And her and Eli have so much fun together. I just thought I would share this really cute picture of the two of them watching a movie together.

Yes...... I am still pregnant!

So I have not really talked much about this pregnancy, at least not on the blog. But We are expecting baby boy number two in just a few days. This pregnancy has definitely been very different then the first one. Much more painful and for surely harder on my body, but as I always say.... I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Being a mom is the greatest blessing in the whole world and I am nothing but pure excited and happy to be bringing another little boy into this world. I just wanted to sort of fill my few faithful readers in one whats going on. I have been dilated to a two for awhile now and 50 percent efaced but because of the lung development thing, they will not really do anything about it until it is much more then that. Also, they were worried that he was breech, so two weeks ago I had another Ultrasound to check up on this. Good news.... not Breech. Bad news, measuring three weeks ahead of schedule, but they still will not do anything about it until the 39th week. Which, thank heavens is this week. I am very scared that this little boy is not going to be so little. I feel as if he will be a ten pound kid, but I suppose we will find out in just a few days. I am scheduled to go in on Friday to get induced, unless he comes sooner, but I am not holding my breath for that. I really just feel my body needs a little coaxing in getting my kids here. But either way, they get here and they are healthy. So keep me in your prayers. We will for sure have a little boy here sometime on Friday, unless by some miracle he comes sooner. Which I will also keep you posted on. Love you all.

Gotta love him....

So this is the most random of posts. Not so much the post itself, it is just a bunch of random pictures that I thought I would share because he just so stinkin funny.

This is Eli at his best lately. He loves to wrestle, shoot things, fight with anyone who will play fight with him... and well basically, he is 100 percent boy.

Again, honestly, I wouldn't even know where to start with this picture. He was just really on one this night and Eli's awesome Aunt caught some of the funniest pictures of him.

The other day we decided to go to the park for a picnic and some wonderful, well needed, Sunny Vitamin D. We had so much fun and once again, Heather caught some really cute pictures of the boys.

This is Korbin, one of Eli's new bestest friends. They have so much fun together.

I know that everyone thinks it is just the cutest thing in the world when two little girls hold hands, but I have to say, I think this is a pretty cute picture of this two handsome boys.

Eli caught off guard I think.

I love this picture. They are both such Cheezers when they want to be.

Randall and Heather. Korbin is Randall's little boy.

This is also one of my new favorites. They all just look so happy.

Heather and Lara. Two of my favorite people in the whole world.
